What to expect when you come to class

Here are a few notes about what to expect when you come to class, especially the first time.
Please show up 15 minutes prior to the start of class. We will be locking doors when class starts and there are no refunds because you couldn't get there on time- not meant to be mean but we can't guarantee that we can help people get set up if they aren't on time and it's not fair to others to hold class for stragglers.
You will be checked in, which will include being weighed. I know this can be uncomfortable but it is a requirement of our insurance company to make sure we stay within our structural limits. It also helps us determine which harness and how many bungees you will need to be successful!
Next you will be told which color harness to grab off the rack and how many bungees to take with you.
Place your water bottle where your instructor recommends
Then you get to pick your station! Do you like to be in front, in the back, or the middle- totally up to you. Wait for an instructor or one of our assistants to help you get into your harness and hooked up to our daisy chain. Once you're hooked up, try squatting or leaning forward, both may feel weird and/ or fun! We ask that you refrain from jumping/flying until we are all hooked in and learn how to jump and fly- we promise we will work up to those skills!
As we progress through these workouts- ALL OF THEM- PLEASE listen to your body. If you need to take a break- that's ok! We ask that you let us know so we can help, if needed.
Lastly, as the class comes to an end, we will do a cool down. Don't start undoing your harness until we have completed the cool down as your balance may be off and we don't want you to fall
This sounds like a lot- especially if you're used to going to the gym, walking up to a piece of equipment and using it when you wish. I promise that this is worth the work. It might feel weird/awkward the first few times, but stick with us and you will love the fun, friends and flights!
