Is Bungee Fitness a "real" workout?

Since I started telling friends and family that I was going to open a bungee fitness studio, this is the question I have been asked more than any other!
I guess my answer has changes over the past few months. You see, different people have different ideas about what is needed for a workout, let me explain. Some people think you need to be using heavy equipment or have someone yelling at you for it to be a workout. If that's what you think the definition of a workout is then, no, this is not a workout. If, on the otherhand, you think that a workout involves raising your heartrate, working various muscle groups, working on your balance, stamina, etc- also having fun, laughing and making friends- then bungee fitness is definitely a workout! Warning- you may (probably will) sweat- another component of a good workout according to some.
Just like any other workout, there are things that make it so you will be more successful when you come to fly with us. Attitude plays big here! We will be doing things that your mind may tell you you can't do anymore... or ever. Most every class has at least one person that tells me they can't do burpees or squats and for sure can't fly! I promise that most people (all so far) CAN do burpees, squats and most definitely FLY! You will be doing things that will make you giggle or laugh while you are working out- isn't that great!?! You will learn how to get your water from a bungee that may seem impossible. You will learn how to fly like a superhero and glide with grace. You will do all of this while your body is working to keep up with the workout, your face starts to glisten and you realize that you're at the end, having had fun, making friends and yes, having a great workout!
